Oh Boy...a Z- fold card

Hello crafters. This week we are going to challenge you with a Z- fold cards. I really love the look of these and that is why I chose this card for my Challenge. Sometimes they are called S-folds as well.
There are many variations on this card but the one I did for my sample was from a lady named Linda Duke. She has a good tutorial here and several variations that are also great. Her directions are simple to follow and she has good tips as well .You can find a tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers for the Double Z Fold here . Here are the Design Team Creations to give you some inspiration. For more information on our creations visit our blogs by clicking on our names above the card. We love comments too.

Color Challenge and Other News

Hi Everyone, I'm the host this week at Come and Get It Challenges, but before we get to the challenge for this week we have some news first.
We at Come and Get it are celebrating our first anniversary here of the challenge.

So we've decided that we would like to expand our Design Team. We think it is important to keep new and fresh ideas coming your way.  So we've asked Judy McKay to join our team and she has accepted to join us for the remainder of this month and through until the end of August, but we would like to add one more so that's where you come in.
 Design Team Call
This is for a designer that will join us for our challenges each week from the First Challenge in May until the last Challenge in August. They will be required to comment on the entries to our challenge, as well as pick their favorite each week. You will be given the challenges ahead of time, so that you can work at your own pace.
We in turn will have your name on our blog, along with a  link to your blog, and you will receive a free Bugaboo Stamp when we have the Bugaboo Challenges. If you are interested in being a  member of our Design Team all you have to do to enter is to put the letters DT beside your entry for this challenge, and also post a comment with your email address so that we may contact you if you are chosen.

Now I would like to introduce you to Judy McKay, and in her own words a bit about her

Hi.  My name is Judy McKay and I am retired and recently moved with my husband to the sunny Okanagan, British Columbia, Canada. I love all areas of paper crafts and especially addicted to anything related to card making.   I have been making cards for close to ten years and an active member of several rubber stamp, ATC and mix media Yahoo groups, one which I am a moderator for.  I am a challenge and technique junkie. I started blogging last year to share my search for my creative side and you can view my creations at:
My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. "You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”

Now for this weeks Challenge is a color challenge, we would like to see the following colors as your main focus of the card. you may add a neutral, such as white, vanilla, brown, or black, but no other colors. You need to try and stay as close to the colors as possible, if you don't have the exact colors that's fine, just something that is close to them.

My choice for this week's spring theme is Billie's card. I just love the image, how she colored it and the colors are outstanding and to finish it off a bunch of flowers that are just so sweet. Great job Billie.

My Pic for this week is # 86, Cec. I just loved her colors and the image of the daffodil fairy. Leslie

My Favorite this week ( though there were SO MANY BEAUTIFUL ENTRIES), is #54, made by Tracy. I love EVERYTHING about this card!
