Show us Your Flowers

Happy Sunday, Stampers! As you read this, I am on my way to Iowa....Yup, today is moving day! Although I am away for a few weeks, I thought I would post today's challenge, because, after all it WAS my idea...LOL. ( at least that is what Cindy tells me)
First off ,we would like to thank everyone who joined us for last week's sketch challenge....WOW is all I can say! There were only a few of you, but you REALLY went all out with your creations!
This week at Come and Get It we would LOVE to see 3D Flowers somewhere on your card. Whether you make them out of paper, have gorgeous daisies or roses in silk, or just stamp and put on pop dots,
 they need to be 3D!
Here are some gorgeous examples from our Design Team:

We look forward to seeing your Gorgeous Creations! Have a FANTASTIC week~

I love the soft colors along with the punch of Rich Razzleberry. You really did a great job on recreating the Shelli's Sketch.

My card for top pick this week is by Alessandra.  I like her interpretation of the sketch and how she made the opening of her card go with the lines of the sketch. She has added lots of beautiful detail along with a great use of layered papers and ribbons.

My pick this week is # 4 by Cartaozinho Azul. I think your take on the sketch is great. I like the soft colours you have used and the sweet emblishments.  Great Card - thanks for sharing.

Color Challenge, Guest Design Team Call

Hi Everyone, This week we have a color challenge for you. I chose these colors cause I was thinking of the leaves on the ground during the fall. It's August now and I'm starting to think of that beautiful time of year, and all the inspiration that comes with it. So here are my colors
 An Announcement
We would also like to say thank you to Meighan and Judy for joining our team over the last 4 months and since this is their last month with us we are having a Guest Design Team call over the next two Challenges. If you would like to be on our Design Team and join in the fun each week for the next 4 months, September until December we would like you to enter the next two challenges and put the letters DT after your name for consideration.
Also we would like to announce that Julie will not be with us for the next month or so as she is moving from Arkansas to Iowa and therefore needs some time to get packed up and moved and settled into her new home, so we would like to wish her well at this time.

Our challenge this week is also being sponsored by
 Bugaboo Stamps

Here is a little information on Bugaboo's History:
As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of paper crafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!
If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug.
There will be a random draw for the entries into the challenge and the winner will receive

Top Picks Adult Birthday

Thanks to all who entered our challenge this week. Great job. It was very difficult to pick the top cards this week. But here are the designer's choices. Thanks again and see you tomorrow for another challenge.

I laughed so hard when I saw this card...I just had to choose it . Her blog is called Scullduggery (cards by Jacki)(# 33) which is an excellent name as well. Her card is funny, clever and very adult all at the same time. "If friends were noses... I'd pick yours". Maybe it is my warped sense of humour but you have to give her kudos for originally and a clever rewrite of an expression I have seen many times (If friends were flowers...I'd pick you). The black and white of the card is also lovely and very well done. Thanks Jackie for just being you!
Leslie

I chose Wendy's card this week as I love the composition of the card as well as the great coloring and the perfect papers and embellishments to go with it. A wonderful job all around.
Cindy
Irene

My top pick for this week’s card is Irene’s  I like her 80th birthday card.  It is clean and simple and the colours she has chosen are soft and lovely.  It is not too mushy and just right for giving to anyone one, all you would have to do is change the age.
Judy
Karen

WOW, lots of GREAT entries this week, and it was SO difficult to choose a favorite. I finally settled on #37 by Karen. I just adore this stamp...my daddy would just love to get this card. The clean and simple layout is fantastic, and the color scheme is great! Thanks so much for joining us, Karen, with this unique Adult card!
Julie

My Top Pick for this past weeks challenge is #16 Kitty.... her card is so whimsical with the silhouette little fairies dancing in the moonlight, the colors are so vibrant and the little bits of bling just adds that extra bit of enchantment to her card!  Stunning work Kitty, thanks so much for joining us to share your art!
Hugs Shell♥

Wow, great entries this week and it is so hard to narrow your choice down to one entry, so well done to everyone and thank you for joining us this week.  I have narrowed my choice down to entry #30 by Sarah.  Sarah, I love the way that you have used the Adorning Accent Edgelit Die and the co-ordinating embossing folder on your card.  The colours and the paper lovely too! This is a lovely birthday card, well done. Regards  Meighan

Adult Birthday card...it's a challenge.

Hello Crafter's. Leslie here and it is my turn to host this post. Creating an Adult birthday card can sometimes be fraught with problems. Is it too mushy?

Is it too baby-ish? Is it too masculine or worse is my masculine card too feminine? There are no rules and it seems at times there should be. Having said all that...this week's challenge for Come and Get It is to make an "Adult Birthday" card. We are very interested in what you come up with for this challenge.
Lets face it, I am very excited to see all of your ideas, colour combos and funny expressions that may give me the needed inspiration to create the perfect cards for a family birthday party next week for 7 adults. Seriously, 7 adult cards. Oh my!
All of our designers have been hard at work giving you our little inspiration as well. So enjoy this challenge and let's see what we create this week.
